Forestry and Land Scotland has advised that the weather over the last few days has caused a landslip with dangerous trees just north of Ptarmigan lodge on the West Highland Way (NN 3515 0093) along with some road edging that has washed away.
After assessing the situation, repair and maintenance work to the forest track is planned including the reforming of drainage ditches to allow for water access and flow, flailing of overgrown vegetation, renewal of inadequate/damaged culverts and the repair of surface defects; such as potholes.
