The Glamping Pods & Campsite are situated adjacent to the Blackwater Hostel and are ideally positioned with many pods overlooking the River Leven. Located in the small village of Kinlochleven, the site is ideal for those walking the West Highland Way as it is the first campsite you come to as you walk down into the village from Glencoe. Many of our guests tell us it’s, “The best equipped site along the West Highland Way”. For those with tired legs are a full days walking it is perfectly located right in the centre of the village, just a few minutes walk to the supermarket, pubs, fish & chip shop and post office. The Ice Factor is right next door to us which also has a good shop with basic camping supplies.

Our Glamping Pods provide a comfortable way to enjoy the great outdoors in all seasons while incorporating a few little luxuries such as electric lights & sockets for your hairdryers/chargers, free WIFI, flat screen TV, microwave, fridge and kettle. All our pods offer secure, dry and warm all year round accommodation, they’re insulated, double glazed and come equipped with electric heaters/fans and midge screens on the windows. There’s plenty storage for rucksacks and bags in the waterproof storage boxes outside. Plus a communal pot wash. We have 3 sizes of pods available: mini lodge, micro lodge or mega lodge. With the mini lodge sleeping 2 in single beds and the micro and mega lodges sleeping up to 4 in 2 single and 1 double bed. All pods come fitted with mattresses only – NO BEDDING provided. No cutlery or crockery provided. Showers and toilets are also available in our communal shower block with ladies and gents (hand soap, shower gel and shampoo supplied) along with access to our large drying rooms with heater and commercial dehumidifier.

CAMPERS have the use of the following facilities: free WIFI, showers in our newly renovated shower block with (hand soap, shower gel & shampoo provided) toilets, power points to charge mobile phones, two drying rooms with commercial dehumidifiers to ensure all your wet gear will be nice and dry for you in the morning, pot wash area.

Please note that there are no cooking facilities on the campsite but the use of small camping stoves is allowed. Dogs are allowed also but must be kept on lead at all times.
